Scott Morrison the deceiver.

The overdue decision by former Prime Minister Scott Morrison to finally leave parliament is a good event, except it should have happened earlier. The probable reason he did not, is no doubt so he could maximise his parliamentary payout.

Many of his party would almost certainely be pleased to see the back of him, as i'm sure a majority of voters as well. The man who he displaced for the seat of Cook, in a decidedly dishonest and deceitful campaign, Michael Towke was forced to withdraw despite beating morrison in preselection, some 82 to 8. Former Prime Minister John Howard apparently overrode the selection.

Towke is quoted as saying "It is now beyond doubt that a political system which allows

someone like Morrison to become PM is in need of some reform." The fact that he went on from November 2007 to this year, utilising chicanery as his weapon,to eventually become Prime Minister, definitely supports those comments.

Once again the Coalition has clearly demonstrated that while all political parties are un trustworthy, they are the worst. Replacing all party politicians with honest, committed independent parliamentarians of the "Movement for Better Government" will eventually

help realse Australia, becoming a true democracy.
