Reconciliation and Dutton?

The article in this week"s "The Saturdaypaper" by Karen Barlow, regarding the minister for Indigenous Affairs and her role in it, over such issues as "The voice to Parliament." etc. demonstrates her integrity and courage.

Despite being a Labor parliamentarian, Linda Burney has apparently always acted in the interest of her indigenous heritage and is to be applauded for it.

We are a racist nation, particularly since Federation, with a constitution based on genocide. It must be said that those who would deny this historical fact need some counselling.

On the other hand Dutton and his cohort, who only ascribe to their party political agenda for personal gain ,have no scruples, when it comes to the interests of the nation. His behaviour in and out parliament, clearly demonstrates that he and his coalition have only one view. That is to feather the nests of their vested capitalist friends and their own individual bank balances. There are very few ,if any, of their coalition that give a damn for the interest of the people.

The political party system that we rely on to form government, unfortunately, is inherently diseased and needs major correction.

Becoming a member of the movement is the way to achieve good government.
