Political Honesty - When?

The artical in last weeks "The Saturday Post" regarding Mathew Sheahan and CPAC (Conservative political Action Conference) hi lites the fact that the Coalition has now reached a new low. It is obvious that they will resort to any nefarious method to pursue their ambitions in parliament.

During the run up to our most recent election, a billboard featuring the Chinese leader Xi Jinping supposedly voting " CCP says vote Labor" appeared all across the Nation. Knowing that this was a deliberate lie,Peter Dutton is quoted as saying in Parliament "We now see evidence, Mr Speaker, that the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese Government, has also made a decision about who they are going to back in the next Federal Election" Despite this blatant lie, the Liberal Party continued to promulgate these sort of deceitful untruths in the the parliament and outside.

This behaviour cotinued through out the following Referendum and up to this time. Passing strange is the fact that the leader of the opposition had lied to Parliament without any apparent penalty. So much for Parliamentory practice. When will the voters realise that we ,the nation, will inevitably get deceitful parliamentarians while we depend on the existing political party system?
