The article by Paul Bongiorno in this weeks "The Saturday Paper" titled "The angle's fear and dread" is in the main supportive of our new Prime Minister, discussing his and his parties performance since taking the reins of Government. He defines Peter Dutton as ruthless and i quote "I say ruthless because the opposition leader does not baulk at using the sort of post-truth politics employed by Donald Trump in the United States where reality is not the touchstone but political advantage is."

Two matters are the subject of debate in the current parliamentry session, one where we see his one dimensional weaponising of anti semitism against Mr Albanese regarding the Israel- Hamas war, is being blatantly used to try to blame Albanese for the inflamatory divisions occuring in the broader population. He , Dutton is clearly the instigator of this divisive circumstance. As Bongiorno states " any national political leader should surely have that front of mind "

2.

The issue, interaction between one of our Naval warships and a Chinese warship in the East China sea is a serious matter, but Duttons persistant challenging of our Prime Minister as to whether he had confronted the Chinese leader during his recent meetings on this matter is purely party political. Any sensible parliamentarian should or would know that to question our leader in this way is dangerous and damaging to our relations with China ,particularly after the way the Coalition seriously mishandled our relations with China during their occupation of the Parliament. God forbid, he ever becomes Prime Minister!!

While ever we are governed by our party political system, we as a nation will always be vunerable to the self interrests of the parties.
