Marcia Langton - A Great Australian.

The article by Marcia Langton in this weeks edition of "The Saturday Paper" is very moving, even heartbreaking. A person who has given her life to the cause of recognition and reconciliation of our First Nations is surely deserving of support.

The way in which the NO case has been promulgated by the Liberal/National parties is a disgrace. The prime minister being a practising party politician is (or should) be able to defend himself against the deceit and lies the coalition spewed out during the campaign but Professor Langton should not have had to put up with the diatribe heaped on her.

Every right thinking Australian should applaud her courage and determination during this episode and thank her.

While ever we are governed by political parties we will have such behaviour.
