How Albanese killed Greens deal.

This is the title of an article by Mike Secccombe in last week's "The Saturday Paper".

Unfortunately, the story is about a division between the Prime Minister and his environment minister Tanya Plibersek, over her work on "Nature positive" laws she had negotiated with the Greens and Senator David Pocock. Although there were other environmental issues he had meddled with,it is becoming apparent that he is so terrified of the mining and logging lobby, in particular Gina Rinehart, that Labor is forsaking any consideration of honesty and principle. By so doing, he is playing into the hands of Peter Dutton and his cohort, in the lead-up to the coming election.

Apparently the late,famous Irish actor "Richard Harris" has been quoted as observing

"that the defining characteristic of successful politicians was Selective cowardice".

It seems it still is!
