Fossil Fuels.

In an article in this weeks "The Saturday Paper" titled "Low bow to fossil fuels" we can observe how the government is prepared to resort to deceitful practices to continue the practice of extracting Fossil Fuels. They are even willing to kow tow to the coalition just to continue support of the extractive industries.

We all know that the majority of nations is watching us at this time, in particular our Pacific neighbours. Blind freddy knows that to halt approvals is going to impact heavily upon our economy and treasury, but to stop approving fossil fuels is essential.

Climate change is upon us and continuing these practices is an insult to the UN and those people of the world who are being severely adversely affected. The Two party system who unfortunately take turns to govern our Nation, are willing to ignore the consequences of their actions. They are not prepared to stand up to the lobbyist groups and their masters, who seem not to care that the world is in dire straits unless these activities are halted.

The time has come for we Australians to instruct our governments to cease. As difficult as it will be to our economies, we must face the inevitable. Maybe a referendum is necessary, having spelled out the effects of this necessary action to our future.
