How many Enviromental departments do we have in Federal Government. One would be entitled to think, just one but no? Under the title "Australian Government' we have

"Department of Climate Change, Energy, The Environment and Water." which seems sensible, but when one pursues the download we get seven pages.

Chris Bowen is minister for Climate Change and energy. He appears to be doing a good job, combined with his assistant minister Jenny Mc Allister. The Minister for the Environment and Water Tanya Plibersek also appears to be doing a good job, except that she recently approved of additional activity in the Torres Straight,to satisfy Santos and their Japanese partners. This at a time when we should not be approving any further fossil fuel activities.

Now the Albanese Government have passed to Resources Minister Madeleine King, the operation of" The Environment Protection and Biodiversity act 1999" which will apparently, enable her to approve additional fossil fuel and other mineral resource activities. So much for Australia's committment to Climate Change.

Is their any politician we can trust our national future to?
