Capitalism versus Communism/Socialism.

Isn't it about time that we, of the portentous west and supposedly Capitalist nations, stopped basing our attitudes on the belief that only we, are correct in matters of international thought?

With a world eqipped with nuclear weaponry, in the hands of nations that should never have been allowed access to them, such as North Korea, Israel, India, Pakistan , as well as the big five- USA, Russia, China , France. and United Kingdom, we have more than enough to destroy humanity.

With Russia, under the leadership of Putin and now the USA with Donald Trump, we are surely forced to face the fact that we are sitting on top of a man- made Volcano, ready to erupt.

If China , India, The European Union, with nations like the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia.

From South America, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Peru would add another 340 million creating a huge populous, to offset the aspirations of both Russia and the USA. Both those nations would be forced to think again of their importance in World affairs. Putin, in particular, would have to reconsider his vacuous nuclear threats, when the EU alone could destroy his nation. It is these sorts of international agreements that could divert World War. A communist country like China, would be almost certain to adopt a leadership role in such a league of nations, without dominating.

World peace and the functioning of the United Nations, would become a reality. The United Nations, with a well-equipped and armed "Peace Keeping" force, could then attend to those minor wars and rebellions in places like Africa etc.

Hopefully, the people of the World could then get on with dealing with such important issues as climate change, at least as big a threat as nuclear arms. Removal of despots, such as Russia's Putin, would become achievable, allowing mankind to live in peace and harmony.

A Dream?
