Debacle.
To say that the USA Presidency at this time, is a debacle, appears to be valid from any normal viewpoint?. The fact that the nation has arrived at this delirious outcome, is without doubt, the result of nefarious activities by the small number of hugely wealthy individuals in control of a variety of industries. The prime examples being the extractive coal and gas businesses, as well as those from Silicon Valley(as they have become known)
In America. The Nation has, at least, since the end of the second world war, been continuously indoctrinated that Capitalism is good and clean (Wrongly), but communism is all bad and dangerous (also wrongly).
In the opinion of this writer, the advent of Donald Trump, is clearly demonstrating that "Capitalism" is the biggest threat to their security, as well as the rest of the world.
We here in Australia have long been convinced of similar untruths, and as in the USA, politicians have always, not only embraced these untruths but prospered under this disillusioned state.
Here in our Country, the result is political corruption, and it is almost certainly more endemic and deceitfully applied than in the USA and possibly elsewhere in the world. Research on this situation here in Australia will, in time, most certainly demonstrate that we are the most expensively governed in the world. At least per capita. America does not even try to disguise the gross invasion of political donations. Here in Australia, our political parties have almost since Federation, set out to suborn financial donations from vested interests.
What's more, those same parties have long enabled parliamentary legislation, designed to favour their own interest, at the disadvantage of other parties and, more recently, to our independent parliamentarians.
Despite having the best (or one of the best) electoral systems in the world, combined with compulsory voting, we are still afflicted, with dishonest/ corrupt and expensive government.
